BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT THE PUBLIC CALL
TANKERSKA PLOVIDBA d.d., shipping joint-stock company, Božidara Petranovića 4, 23000 Zadar, OIB: 44952903763 (hereinafter: the Company), announces a Public Call for awarding donations in 2025 (hereinafter: the Call).
The aim of the Call is to support quality projects and programs in the fields of: humanitarian activities, culture, education, healthcare, science, and other activities that contribute to the welfare and improvement of the quality of life of the community.
FORMAL CONDITIONS OF THE CALL
Eligible applicants are:
Civil society organizations based in the Republic of Croatia: associations, foundations, religious communities, artistic organizations, private non-profit institutions; whose activities are directed to the general welfare and improving the quality of life of the community.
Institutions based in the Republic of Croatia: kindergartens, schools, universities, student dormitories, nature parks, tourist boards, private institutions, museums, libraries, etc.; that are not included in the first group, but are eligible applicants for financing programs and projects under the terms of the Call.
They must meet the following conditions:
Have statutes that clearly list activities aligned with the areas of funding within the Call.
Have the legal, financial, and operational capacity, including human resources, to implement the project.
Have no debts toward the Company and/or related entities, are not in dispute with them, and have not violated prior donation agreements with the Company.
Settle all due obligations for pension and health contributions, taxes, and other public duties, with accounts not under blockage.
Neither the applicant nor its authorized representatives are under criminal proceedings and/or convicted of criminal offenses.
Are registered for the activities subject to funding.
Additionally:
Individuals, Croatian citizens with permanent residence in Croatia – exclusively for healthcare needs.
State administration bodies and local/regional self-government bodies – only for humanitarian, educational, scientific, healthcare, human rights, non-discrimination, environmental protection, sustainable development, and civil society development purposes.
Restrictions:
Commercial companies, craftsmen, organizational branches without legal personality, political parties, political associations/lists, or organizations with discriminatory/illegal/immoral activities cannot apply.
Projects/programs must relate to activities carried out in 2025.
DURATION OF THE CALL
Open: April 8 – May 8, 2025
Deadline: May 8, 2025 at 16:00 CET
Results expected on June 16, 2025 at www.tankerska.hr
PROGRAM AREAS FOR DONATIONS
Education, Science, Development – educational projects, international youth events, extracurricular activities, research, ICT training, civil society development.
Culture, Heritage, Arts – fostering creativity, arts, preserving heritage, supporting talented artists.
Environmental Protection – energy efficiency, ecology awareness, environmental improvement, human/environmental safety.
Humanitarian (health, social welfare, human rights) – support for elderly, ill, poor, disabled, health promotion, youth safety, violence prevention, inclusion of vulnerable groups.
Animal Protection – reducing abandoned pets, ensuring animal welfare and care.
Sports – promoting physical activity, especially among youth.
All activities must take place in Croatia.
ELIGIBLE COSTS
Eligible:
Staff costs (salaries, fees)
Travel expenses (transport, per diem, accommodation with breakfast)
Equipment and goods
Other necessary project-related costs (education, evaluation, promotion, materials, etc.)
Not eligible:
Non-project-related expenses
Representation, food, drinks (e.g., catering, meals, alcohol, coffee, etc.)
GENERAL SELECTION CRITERIA
Projects will be assessed based on:
Quality, contribution to Company’s goals
Originality, innovation, realistic/transparent budgeting
Community impact
Strategic importance
Contribution to community values
APPLICATION PROCESS
Applications must be submitted using the Request for Donation Form available on the Company’s website.
Each applicant may apply with one project only.
Maximum donation per project: EUR 10,000.00
Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.

Shortlisted applicants may later be requested to submit additional official documents (e.g., Ministry of Finance certificate of no tax debt, court confirmation of no criminal proceedings, etc.).
NOTIFICATION & DONATION AGREEMENT
Results will be published on www.tankerska.hr.
If awarded more than EUR 2,000.00, a donation contract must be signed between the applicant and the Company.
Contracts will define payment, designated use of funds, reporting obligations, liability, and dispute resolution.
DATA PROTECTION
The processing of personal data follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Croatian data protection laws.

DISPUTES
In case of disputes, the competent court is the Municipal Court in Zadar. The Company reserves the right to interpret the Call exclusively.
FINAL PROVISIONS
Applicants may be required to submit reports proving the targeted use of donated funds.
The Call itself does not entitle applicants to funding. The Company may choose not to grant donations to any project.
